Andrews Group, Inc. (AG) was founded in 1987 by long-time Alaskan resident Eleanor Andrews. She previously served as director of human resources for the Municipality of Anchorage, where she was responsible for policy development, labor relations, equal employment opportunity, and all manner of personnel issues, including training and development and benefit programs for more than 3,500 employees. She started the company after serving four years as Commissioner of Administration for the State of Alaska, where she managed an annual operating budget of over $250 million and held responsibility for providing policy and administrative support required to efficiently run the Alaska executive branch of government.
