The Service Strategies division of Andrews Group’s Business Solutions Department brings a wealth of skills and experience to bear on customer business operations. The Service Strategies team designs and delivers training programs, orchestrates workshops, facilitates meetings, and actively participates in planning team activities. Business areas where these abilities have been successfully utilized include tourism planning, environmental conflict management, public involvement, collaborative stewardship, customer service strategies, and workshop design and delivery.
Some examples of specific projects of note to date include:

  • Facilitated a series of community meetings about tourism development for the Aleutians East Borough in Alaska.
  • Coordinated logistics and provided facilitation services for U.S. Forest Service symposiums in 1999 and 2002 entitled, Tourism in Southwest Alaska: Working Together.
  • Facilitated a session on Regional and Statewide Alaska Transportation Planning and Coordination at the western States Tourism Policy Council Conference entitled, Connecting Us All: Partnerships in Transportation and Tourism.
  • Facilitated two Regional Recreation Summits for the U.S. Forest Service.
  • Facilitated constituency review panels on the Stellar Sea Lion Program for the National Marine Fisheries Service.
  • Served as a team member on the McCarthy Road Roundtables Project in conjunction with Land Design North for the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities in association with Wrangell/St. Elias National Park. Also conducted stakeholder interviews and tourism assessment, developed community strategies, and facilitated meetings.
  • Working Together Works for the Alaska Public Lands Information Centers.
  • Assisted in cirriculum development and led staff orientation sessions for the Alaska Native Heritage Center in 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002.
  • Conducted seminars on tourism development for the Southwest Alaska Municipal Conference and the Alaska Municipal League.
